It is a skillful balancing act and not all organizations provide the type of leadership training that charge nurses need. Join Rose O. Sherman, EdD, RN, NEA-BC, CNL and Terry Eggenberger, RN, MSN, PhD (c) as they discuss important keys to success in becoming an effective charge nurse including understanding the role responsibilities, and developing skills to enhance communication, reduce conflict, and build team synergy.

Presenters:

Rose Sherman is the Director of the Nursing Leadership Institute and an Associate Professor of Nursing on the faculty of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University.

Terry Eggenberger is an Instructor on the faculty of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University where she is also completing her doctoral studies with a research emphasis on the charge nurse role.
